Six studio records in, Whiskey Myers celebrates this milestone with their newest entry "Tornillo" released last July of 2022. The album hit #10 on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. The new record follows their 2019 self-titled album which hit #1 on the Top Country Albums Chart and #6 on the Billboard 200. Committed to their craft of authentic lyrical tales and country-rock striking melodies, Whiskey Myers is a highly-sought after act in the scene.
Incorporating new twists and turns to their signature sound, Cody Cannon shares with Daily Bulletin "This time, it was a little bit different… We’d been wanting to do horns for a while. I guess during the writing process, I was hearing like horns and stuff behind certain sounds. It was in the back of my mind. So I guess that was different this time. We try not to put that much thought into it: trying to find the perfect sound. But I knew on this record I didn’t want to do the same thing. I wanted to do something different"

"There’s never a right or wrong answer when it comes to ideas," John Jeffers shared. "We would run every single idea from everyone — some work and some don’t, but we give them all a shot. And then there’s that magical moment when the whole band hears it, your eyes get a twinkle"
