Arizona Financial Theatre
PHX – The Claypool Gold tour is a musical extravaganza. This experimental show will feature 3 different projects of the bassist/singer from Primus, including a rare appearance by the band itself. The show will take place at the Arizona Financial Theatre on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
The night will open up with a full Primus set, featuring all of the bands greatest hits such as “Jerry Was a Race Car Driver” and “My Name Is Mud” from their hit album Rhinoplasty, The Claypool Lennon Delirium will follow performing The Great Parrot-Ox and the Golden Egg of Empathy, a 2026 release. To wrap up the evening Les will bring the crowd through a selection of music from his previous project Fearless Flying Frog Brigade with of course plenty of jam time in between.
The ticket price for this spectacular is $29 and the doors open at 7:00 PM.
Primus will be performing a complete set LIVE in concert, to be followed by a complete set from the most iconic jam collective, Les Claypool’s Fearless Flying Frog Brigade at Arizona Financial theater on Tuesday, June 30th, 2026. Rounding out the unique triple-bill will be another pioneering project from bass virtuoso, Les Claypool – The Claypool Lennon Delirium in an interdynamic & fluid performance showcasing all of the iconic music from Les Claypool’s projects.
Primus – A Prolific and Iconic Band. The influential funk-metal band hails from California and have consistently produced innovative music for their diverse fan base over the last 25+ years. The slapping and popping of his fingers on the bass strings create some of the most memorable live performances and he brings the classic songs to life such as ‘Jerry Was a Race Car Driver’, ‘My Name Is Mud’, and ‘Wynona’s Big Brown Beaver’.
The Les Claypool’s Fearless Flying Frog Brigade is a very experimental project with an impressive array of musicians. Most recently the Brigade has reformed with Sean Lennon on guitar and recently they released Return of the Live Frogs: Volume 1. This show will be a variety of the jams, deep cuts and unexpected cover songs the band has in their arsenal such as Animals by Pink Floyd or a variety of King Crimson songs.
The evening will close with The Claypool Lennon Delirium performing their 2026 concept album The Great Parrot-Ox and the Golden Egg of Empathy. The 14 song release follows the adventures of Parrot-Ox and the Golden Egg of Empathy as they journey through a variety of landscapes
