Ilaiyaraaja the renowned music composer shall perform LIVE at an event at the Arizona Financial theater on Friday, August 28th, 2016. Ilaiyaraaja

Ilaiyaraaja affectionately known as 'Isaignani' or the Musical Genius is a legendary composer who has created music for over 1,000 films across Indian languages including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. He is known for his ability to incorporate Indian classical melodies with Western orchestral arrangements in his films, thus creating a unique sound that is typically Eastern but with a Western twist. He has worked on many films including Anbe Sivi, Naan Avan Illai, Indian starring Kamal Haasan, Unaru Vaarthaigal by Mani Ratnam and many more. His songs such as 'Sundari Kannal' from Paarai, 'Madai Thiranthu' from Malathy Mon and many more are all time hits and have created history world over. Ilaiyaraaja today is one of the most awarded music directors in Indian cinema and has been awarded the Padma Bhushan, which is one of the highest civilian awards in India. His recent songs are a perfect blend of traditional songs with modern music arrangement.

Arizona Financial theater Information

The Arizona Financial Theatre is located at 400 West Washington Street in the heart of downtown Phoenix, within walking distance to all of the great restaurants, bars, and entertainment options of the Cultural District. With comfortable cushioned seating and a great sounding pro sound system, the Arizona Financial Theatre is a great place to see a live show.
