Of A Revolution, better known as O.A.R., is an American rock band formed in 1996 and rose to fame after the release of their debut song "That Was a Crazy Game of Poker," which has drawn a connection to college students in the late 1990s. The band is composed of Marc Roberge (lead vocals and rhythm guitar), Richard On (lead guitar, backing vocals), Benj Gershman (bass), Chris Culos (drums), and Jerry DePizzo(saxophone, guitar, and backing vocals). Throughout their career, they have released ten chart-topping albums and six live records. They carved their name in the music industry through hard touring over the years and didn't rely solely on advertisements. O.A.R. has two touring members – keyboardist Mikel Paris and trumpeter Jon Lampley.

Now, the seven musicians of Of A Revolution are back for the Summer Tour 2024, featuring their tenth album, "The Arcade," which was released last July 15, 2022.

"The reason we titled the album The Arcade is that an arcade contains so many different games, characters, colors, stories, sounds — but at the end of the day, all of that exists within the same space, under the same roof," Marc Roberge explained. It is composed of nine tracks, including the hit "In the Clouds," which tells us a message of drifting off into our own dream worlds to escape reality for a moment. Roberge also describes "Nightlight" as a song coming from the perspective of wanting to protect his kids from the constant turbulence of the world. The touching story behind "Life in the City" lies on O.A.R's core – them taking everyone on a journey within a song – as it serves as a tribute to their close friend Billy, whom they've lost to gun violence.

Summer Tour '24 will hit the road starting December 3, 2023, and will continue until November 17, 2024. They will perform along with several bands, including Fitz and the Tantrums – an American indie pop and neo-soul band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2008. Their most notable song is their 2016 "HandClap," which is still widely listened to even today.

This coming Wednesday, 7th of August 2024, O.A.R., together with Fitz and The Tantrums, will be stopping at the Arizona Financial Theatre. They will surely "make your hands clap" as they lift you "in the clouds," so what are you still waiting for? Grab your tickets now!
