“VIVA LA QUEBRADITA” LIVE in Arizona features the Billboard chart-topping Banda Pequeños Musical (“Un loco solitario,” “Y yo que te amo”), Banda Maguey (“Tu Eterno Enamorado,” “Si Tu No Estas”), and Banda Mach (“Aunque No Sea Conmigo,” Amores Clandestinos”) as its first headlining half. Summer 2025 hasn’t peaked yet! After taking the annual California Mid-State Fair by storm last July, the outrageously star-studded “VIVA LA QUEBRADITA” Tour is barreling to Phoenix this August 30th for a LIVE Saturday concert at the Arizona Financial Theatre. This time, we’re getting three times the star power with a refreshed lineup featuring Latin music powerhouse acts Pequeños Musical, Banda Maguey, Banda Mach, Charly Perez, Rafael Kelly, and Roberto Junior Y Su Bandeño.
It’s the kind of music that makes you want to DANCE, twirling to the lively beats infused with flashy technobanda rhythms. VIVA LA QUEBRADITA presents six phenomenal voices from its eponymous genre, starting with Banda Pequeños Musical! This 90s group delivers a versatile and irresistibly romantic style that has been hailed with a Top 10 spot on Billboard’s Regional Mexican chart in 2006’s La Produccion Maestra, boasting wildly popular hits like “Y yo que te amo,” “Un loco solitario,” and “Reencuentro.” The Jalisco-born Banda Maguey tags along for a presentation of their riveting ‘technobanda’ sound following the release of their latest single, “Los Vaqueritos.” Best known for “Tu Eterno Enamorado,” Maguey also brings favorites such as “Si Tu No Estas” and “Como La Luna” from their 1995 LP, La Estrella De Los Bailes. Third in is Banda Mach, fronted by former Banda Machos bassist/founding member Pepe Guardado. This group injects another dose of contagious ‘technobanda’ energy through their signature album’s highlights, featuring the songs “Amores Clandestinos,” “Vamos a Regresar,” and the title track “Aunque No Sea Conmigo.”
The second half of the cast names three of the hottest stars of their generation. Molded by the Tijuana music scene, Charly Pérez exhibits unyielding passion in concert with recent hit singles “Experto En Fracasos (No Le Tengas Compasión)” and “La Pregunta Del Millón.” Latin Grammy Award winner Rafael Kelly, meanwhile, comes from a frontman run with the group Los Sebastianes, later releasing must-hear solo records “Y Que,” “Indeleble,” and “A Través Del Vaso.” Finally, Roberto Junior Y Su Bandeño — "El Coco No", "Le Quito Lo Fresa" and “Te Lo Advertí” — completes our six-star spectacle celebrating Mexico’s ‘quebradita’ movement.
